1. Interpretation
1.1 Except as defined in this Schedule 7 (Audio-Visual Services), capitalised terms shall have the meanings given to them in the Agreement.
1.2 To the extent applicable to the AV Services, in the event of conflict between the terms of this Schedule 7 and the Agreement, the provisions of this Schedule 7 shall take precedence, and in the event of conflict with a Service Document, Statement of Work, or Service Order, the provisions of that Service Document shall take precedence over this Schedule 7.
1.3 For the purposes of this Schedule 7:
- “AV Services” means the design, provision, installation, configuration, and ongoing support of audio-visual and collaboration solutions.
- “Collaboration Solutions” means hardware and software platforms used for video conferencing, hybrid meetings, and multi-participant collaboration.
- “Digital Signage” means display, scheduling, and content management systems deployed across one or more sites.
- “Commercial Audio Solutions” means distributed audio systems for background music, paging, or presentation purposes.
2. Service Description
2.1 The Supplier will provide AV Services to the Customer in accordance with the following principles:
- Reliability First: AV systems shall be selected and deployed on a best-of-breed basis to minimise the risk of equipment failure or user frustration.
- Approved Equipment Only: The Supplier shall only supply, configure, or support AV systems which have been approved by the Supplier as meeting best-of-breed standards. The Supplier shall not be obliged to supply new AV systems or support existing AV systems which do not meet these standards.
- Ease of Use: Solutions will be designed with a focus on intuitive user interfaces and minimal setup steps, recognising that AV reliability is critical to the success of meetings and presentations.
- Compatibility: Solutions shall be compatible with major conferencing platforms including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other leading services, as specified in the relevant Service Order.
- Scalability: Systems will be designed to operate effectively in single rooms as well as multi-site deployments.
2.2 Typical AV Services may include, without limitation:
- Conference and Meeting Room Systems: Supply, installation, and integration of hardware and software to enable one-touch meeting join, high-quality audio and video, and room automation features.
- Interactive Displays and Room Control: Supply and configuration of interactive panels, annotation tools, and centralised control of room systems, including remote management capabilities.
- Digital Signage: Deployment of signage platforms to deliver scheduled content, announcements, and wayfinding information across one or multiple locations.
