1. Interpretation
1.1 Except as defined in this Schedule 9 (Surveillance & CCTV Services), capitalised terms shall have the meanings given to them in the Agreement.
1.2 To the extent applicable to the Surveillance & CCTV Services, in the event of conflict between the terms of this Schedule 9 and the Agreement, the provisions in this Schedule 9 shall take precedence, and in the event of conflict with a Service Document, Statement of Work, or Service Order, the provisions of that Service Document or Service Order shall take precedence over this Schedule 9.
1.3 For the purposes of this Schedule 9:
- “Surveillance & CCTV Services” means the design, supply, installation, monitoring, management and/or maintenance of video-surveillance and associated systems provided by the Supplier to the Customer, as described in paragraph 2.
- “CCTV System” means the cameras, recording devices, storage, software platforms, AI analytics and associated infrastructure installed or supported by the Supplier.
- “Authorised Users” means Customer personnel granted access to live or recorded CCTV footage.
- “Retention Period” means the agreed period for which CCTV footage is stored before deletion.
- “AI Analytics” means optional video analytics such as motion detection, line-crossing, people/vehicle detection, facial recognition, ANPR, or other AI-driven event detection provided by supported platforms.
- “Authorised Representatives” means Customer personnel formally nominated in writing to the Supplier as permitted to request user account creation, modification, or removal.
- “Legacy Systems” means CCTV equipment and platforms supplied, installed, or configured by third parties and not originally provided by the Supplier, including analogue CCTV and HD-over-coax systems (such as HD-CVI, HD-TVI or AHD) and any mixed-vendor environments where such systems remain in place.
2. Service Description
2.1 The Supplier shall provide the Surveillance & CCTV Services in accordance with Good Industry Practice and applicable law. Services may include:
- (a) System Design & Installation – consultancy, supply, installation and configuration of CCTV Systems.
- (b) System Integration – integration with access control, intercoms, alarms or third-party analytics.
- (c) System Management – monitoring, software updates, configuration changes and fault resolution.
- (d) System Maintenance – hardware maintenance, warranty administration and replacement services where agreed.
- (e) Storage & Retention – configuration of recording devices and cloud services to meet the agreed Retention Period.
- (f) Access Control – management of Authorised Users’ access to live feeds and recordings.
